What’s free

  • Launching a market: no listing fee.
  • Posting, editing by cancelling and re-posting, and cancelling offers.
  • Reclaiming an expired offer’s escrow.

Every action that writes to the chain costs a little ETH in gas, paid to the network, not to Swapmeet. A reverted transaction can still cost gas.

The fine print

Founding markets. Registry markets #1 to #25 keep 100% of collected fees, permanently. The slot is decided by on-chain registration order. 7 of 25 are left.

Rounding. Amounts settle in whole token units and wei. Fees are rounded cumulatively per offer, so a series of partial fills adds up to the same total as one big fill.

Buy offers. A buy offer deposits the price plus the maximum fee. If the final fee is lower, the unused part is refunded automatically when the offer completes or is cancelled.

The quote is the truth. Before you sign, Swapmeet asks the exchange contract for the exact amounts of your trade. That quote is what settles.
